SEMINAR ON TRAINING & PLACEMENT

S.S.I.E.T organised a seminar on training and placement on 14 NOV 2007. Dr. Rajneesh Arora, Director Placement Cell of Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar graced the occasion as a chief guest. He gave his guidance and counseling by describing 10 points regarding achieving placement. According to him, it is 100% responsibility of the students because it depends upon the student capability and constant effort as how to achieve the placement. Worthy Managing Director Sh. Rajesh Bhardwaj, Principal Prof. N.L.Arora also participated in the seminar and appreciated the 10 major steps told by Dr. Rajneesh Arora. Students were also much impressed and motivated by Dr. Rajneesh Arora.

SEMINAR ON TRAINING AND PLACEMENT

A Seminar on Training and Placement was held on 30th Nov 2007 in the Campus of SSIET, Patti. In which Dr. Rajneesh Arora, Director of Training and Placement Cell. GNDU University, gave his Commendable views and advice as how to get B.Tech students of any stream placed successfully in the future ahead. Stressing that rather than just depending on the Colleges/Universities, it is the responsibility of the students to get themselves placed in reputed Companies/Industries, for this purpose he described ten useful points. Besides this he also stressed on making network among the students via net, mobile messaging, etc. To meet up with this end the means of placement he throwed his visionary light upon were personality development, Communication skills, Individual student brochures of pre-final year in which they have to add College information, personal information, major/minor projects and training. Winding up the seminar he also gave his useful tips on career guidance. At the end of seminar our Managing director Mr. Rajesh Bhardwaj reviewed and highlighted the tips explained by Dr. Arora.

YOUTH EMPLOYEMENTSEMINAR(PUNJAB GOVT.)15 SEPT 07

Punjab Government started a programme for youth employment, especially belonging to rural areas. Under this scheme, a seminar on Youth’s Employment was conducted on 15 Sept, 07. In which teachers, from different Schools and College and educationists gave their views as how to tackle the problem of unemployment among youth. All the delegates provided the knowledge of different Courses as how they can get self employment for those who don’t perform academically well. For achieving this goal, the Government can provided vocational educational training to one lakh youth for job employment and 50,000 youth for self employment per year.

Their newly proposed features are job oriented degree, diploma certificate/vocational courses. Among different participants Mr S.A.Khan, TPO, SSIET also presented his views on the same. On the important occasion, SSIET played a very vital role by providing as a platform for making san awareness and acting as an educationist as how to remove the causes and problem of Unemployment.
